XG Unveils Mesmerizing Teaser for Debut Album 'THE CORE - 核'

On the eve of their debut album release, the group XG has unveiled a teaser that blurs the lines between dreams and reality.

XG, consisting of members Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Harvey, Juria, Maya, and Cocona, released the music video teaser for the lead track 'HYPNOTIZE' from their first full-length album 'THE CORE - 核' on their official YouTube channel on the 21st.

In the teaser, XG seamlessly transitions between reality and fantasy, leaving a strong impression with its sophisticated visuals. The video features a space reminiscent of the deep sea and a mysterious creature trapped in a glass tank, rapidly alternating to reveal an expanded universe. The teaser, evoking a being awakened in a future world, vividly showcases the album's thematic keywords of 'evolution, change, and creation' through XG's unique visual styling.

The snippet of melody revealed in the teaser also captures attention. The house number, blending a dreamy sound with rhythmic piano, draws listeners into a hypnotic sensation, promising a track that encapsulates confidence, individuality, and XG's intense energy.

Previously, on the 20th, XG's surprise live streaming content 'Live View: XG's CORE' on their official YouTube channel garnered significant attention. The live stream offered an unfiltered look into the studio, rehearsal scenes for their second world tour 'XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE' starting in February, and even dance and vocal lessons from their trainee days, along with the members dining together. This special live event connected the past and present, with album spoilers speculated throughout, prompting fans to flood the chat with reactions like "What's happening?", "Is this a broadcast accident?", and "The concept is innovative."

Set to release at midnight on the 23rd, 'THE CORE - 核' is a declaration encapsulating the group's deepest essence. The album includes a total of 10 tracks, featuring pre-released songs 'GALA', '4 SEASONS', as well as 'XIGNAL (The Intro)', 'ROCK THE BOAT', 'TAKE MY BREATH', 'NO GOOD', 'HYPNOTIZE', 'UP NOW', 'O.R.B (Obviously Reads Bro)', and 'PS118'.
