BTS's V Unveils New Photobook 'TYPE 非' and Announces Seoul Exhibition
BTS member V is set to reveal a new side of himself through his latest photobook.

On the 19th, V released his photobook 'TYPE 非', following his 2024 debut 'TYPE 1'. While the previous work captured his unadorned daily life, this new edition explores 'non-fixity', transcending the boundaries of form and genre.

V was deeply involved in the planning and overall shooting of the photobook, expressing his unique sensibility throughout its 278 pages. The book is divided into 20 chapters, each seamlessly flowing into the next. The diverse concepts and direction in each chapter showcase the multifaceted nature of 'Artist V', defying categorization. The main poster's intense gaze and emotional atmosphere heighten anticipation for the photobook.

To commemorate the release, an offline exhibition titled 'V TYPE 非: ON-SITE IN SEOUL' will be held. The exhibition includes various zones such as a display zone and a media art zone. Visitors can experience the photobook's flow visually and three-dimensionally, with access to exclusive photos and videos available only on-site. The exhibition will run from January 20 to February 1 at Frieze House Seoul in Jung-gu, Seoul, marking the venue's first photo exhibition.

Meanwhile, BTS, the group V is part of, will release their fifth studio album 'ARIRANG' on March 20. The album, featuring 14 tracks, delves into themes of identity, longing, and profound love. Starting April 9, BTS will embark on a massive world tour covering North America, Europe, South America, and Asia, beginning in Goyang, South Korea, with 79 shows across 34 cities. Additional dates in Japan and the Middle East are expected to expand the tour further.
