Lim Young-woong Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer to Share New Year's Rice Cake Soup With

Lim Young-woong has been voted as the number one trot singer people want to share rice cake soup with on January 1st.

From January 1st to 7th, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which male trot singer would you like to eat rice cake soup with on January 1st?' Lim Young-woong emerged as the winner. He recently received the ESG Award at the '2025 SBS Entertainment Awards' on December 30th for his contributions to sustainable values through the variety show 'Island Boy Hero.' Additionally, Lim Young-woong held his 'IM HERO' national tour concert in Daejeon from January 2nd to 4th at the Daejeon Convention Center.

Singer Song Min-jun secured the second spot. He gained fame by winning the trot audition 'Golden Mic' and finishing 8th in TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot 2.' Song Min-jun released his first mini-album 'Prologue' last December and held his '2025 Song Min-jun Solo Concert Chapter 4' at Sungshin Women's University on Christmas.

Park Seo-jin took third place. On December 27th, Park Seo-jin uploaded a video titled 'It's Been a While Since I Flexed' on his official YouTube channel, where he donated clothes and goods to the Dongmyeong Child Welfare Center. He also contributed 10 million won to the Mapo Welfare Foundation and another 10 million won to Yonsei University Medical Center to support medical expenses for patients with rare diseases.

Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to grill delicious Korean beef with in the cold winter?' and similar questions for female singers and trot singers.
