Kim Eui-young Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer to Share New Year's Rice Cake Soup With
From January 1 to January 7, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to eat rice cake soup with on January 1st?'
Kim Eui-young emerged as the winner. She made her official debut as a trot singer after finishing in the TOP 5 on TV Chosun's entertainment show 'Miss Trot 2' in 2020. In May, she released her fourth single 'STARTrot PART.1,' produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track 'Do Whatever You Want' is a bright and cheerful dance trot song that showcases Kim Eui-young's unique refreshing charm.
The second place went to singer Jeon Yu-jin. Jeon Yu-jin is set to hold her first fan concert 'Twenty' in Busan on January 10. On December 30, a behind-the-scenes video of her 'Twenty' concert in Daegu, held on January 6, was released on her official YouTube channel. The video begins with Jeon Yu-jin checking the seating arrangements during rehearsal, highlighting her professional demeanor.
In third place is Bin Ye-seo. On January 10, the official channel of MBN's 'The King of Trot 3' posted a video titled '[The King of Trot 3 Behind] Interview with Su-yeon - Su-terview in the Waiting Room｜CReAstudio.' In the video, Bin Ye-seo was asked about her experience on 'The King of Trot 3,' to which she replied, "It's intense. I felt once again how fierce the competition is."
