EXO Celebrates 14th Anniversary with Heartfelt Reflections and Upcoming Concert
Debuting in 2012, EXO has released numerous hit songs including 'Wolf', 'Growl', 'Overdose', 'CALL ME BABY', 'LOVE ME RIGHT', 'Monster', and 'Love Shot'.
Notably, EXO made a comeback in January this year with their 8th studio album 'REVERXE', marking their return after 2 years and 6 months. The album achieved their 8th million-seller record. Furthermore, EXO is set to kick off their sixth solo concert tour 'EXO PLANET #6 - EXhOrizon' at the KSPO DOME in Seoul from April 10 to 12, meeting fans with a new concert after 6 years and 4 months.
Below is a Q&A with EXO on their 14th debut anniversary.
- Suho: The day we filmed the 'History' music video. I remember feeling emotional, thinking about my trainee days and realizing I was finally shooting a music video on a set like the ones I used to see on TV.
- Chanyeol: Whenever I get this question, the 'History' stage from our debut showcase always comes to mind first. It's hard to believe it's been 14 years. I'm deeply grateful to EXO-Ls for their unwavering love.
- D.O.: Every year feels amazing. I'm grateful for having worked hard and for those who continue to support us. The most memorable moment will likely be our upcoming EXO concert, which we're doing after such a long time!
- Kai: The number 14 still doesn't feel real. Looking back, there have been many moments, and walking through them with EXO-Ls is the most meaningful. Rather than a specific moment, the air and the fans' eyes when I'm on stage always stay with me. Those moments have shaped who I am today.
- Sehun: I'm thankful for being with the members for 14 years. To our fans, our EXO-Ls, thank you for loving, believing, and supporting us till the end. Let's go as far as we can!
Q. How do you feel about holding an EXO concert after 6 years and 4 months, and can you give a one-word spoiler for the concert?
- Suho: While there are new songs and performances, the word 'nostalgia' seems fitting. We've reinterpreted and reborn the songs we've performed over the past 14 years with a 2026 vibe. It will be a day where EXO-Ls and EXO become one, reminiscing about the past while enjoying the present.
- Chanyeol: Since it's been a while, all the members are joyfully preparing together. The spoiler word would be 'return'.
- D.O.: A performance full of memories, because 14 years have passed since our debut.
- Kai: I'm excited and have high expectations, as fans have waited for so long. Being able to breathe the same air with fans again feels special. If I had to describe this concert in one word, it would be 'reunion'. It's not just a performance but a moment to reconnect the time we've spent apart. We're preparing with sincerity.
- Sehun: I'm thrilled about the concert after such a long time. Coincidentally, the last day of the concert is my birthday. I'll enjoy every moment on stage with EXO-Ls without regrets.
Q. A message to EXO-Ls who always love EXO
- Suho: Thank you for loving EXO for such a long time. I'll always repay this love with even greater love! Let's continue to love each other!
- Chanyeol: I'll always repay you.
