AKMU Embarks on a New Journey After Leaving YG Entertainment

The sibling duo AKMU, who recently parted ways with YG Entertainment after 12 years, has shared an update on their current activities.

Member Lee Chan-hyuk posted on his Instagram story on the 7th, stating, "AKMU is undergoing rigorous training starting January 1st in preparation for a new beginning," along with a photo.

The photo shows Lee Chan-hyuk smiling with his sister Su-hyun in what appears to be a rural setting. This marks the first update from Lee Chan-hyuk since he bid farewell to YG Entertainment on January 1st, drawing attention from fans.

AKMU was signed with YG Entertainment from 2014 to 2025. As the talented group enters the free agency market, there is growing interest in which label they will choose for their next chapter.
