Voting Opens for January's TENASIA Artist Top Ten: Davichi and Hwasa Among Contenders
The voting for January's 'TENASIA Artist Top Ten' is now open, featuring fierce competition among top artists like the duo Davichi and singer Hwasa.

Organized by TENASIA, the 'Artist Top Ten' is a monthly competition that selects the most talked-about domestic artists. K-pop male idols, female idols, and genre artists (such as indie, mixed groups, ballads, etc.) compete for the top spot in their respective categories.

This month's voting runs from January 8th at midnight to January 21st at 11:59 PM.

The 'Artist Top Ten' global voting is divided into K-POP BOY BRAND, K-POP GIRL BRAND, and HOT GENRE BRAND categories.

In the HOT GENRE BRAND category, 20 teams have been nominated, including Davichi, Hwasa, NMIXX, ALLDAY PROJECT, WOODZ, LE SSERAFIM, j-hope, Lee Chan-hyuk, Woody, Roy Kim, Park Koon, Choi Woo-jin, Namkung Jin, Park Seo-jin, Kim So-yeon, Ha Dong-geun, Son Bin-ah, Kim Yong-bin, Park Sung-on, and Kim Da-hyun. Among them, Davichi and Hwasa are particularly noteworthy due to their recent active performances.

Davichi is set to hold the '2026 Davichi Concert 'Time Capsule: Connecting Time' at the Seoul KSPO Dome on January 24th and 25th. They are also scheduled to appear on JTBC's 'Hidden Singer 8' this year. Their song 'Don't you know,' which was remade by singer Zo Zazz, was highlighted as one of the top performers in terms of price increase on the music investment platform Music Cow last year.

Hwasa will be the opening title track singer for the crime film 'Project Y,' starring actors Han So-hee and Jun Jong-seo. She will collaborate with the film's music director, GRAY. Her solo track 'Good Goodbye,' released last October, achieved a 'perfect all-kill' by topping domestic music charts nearly 500 times. Her performance of this song at last year's 'Blue Dragon Film Awards,' alongside actor Park Jeong-min, was a hot topic.

Voting for the 'Artist Top Ten' is conducted through the TENASIA voting service. Rankings are determined 100% by the voting scores from the TENASIA application. After the monthly voting concludes, the top 10 artists are selected based on the highest combined fan voting scores. The voting page also features an event where participants receive one heart daily for attendance check-ins.

Candidates for the K-POP BOY BRAND and K-POP GIRL BRAND categories are selected from the top 20 artists on the monthly Melon Chart and Idol Champ Chart. The HOT GENRE BRAND category nominees are chosen from the top 20 artists on the monthly Melon Chart and Celeb Champ Chart.

Artists who make it to the 'Artist Top Ten' receive benefits such as a special feature article linked to their final ranking, promotion on the TENASIA website, and inclusion in the following month's Artist Top Ten candidates (limited to the top artist).
