BTS Tops Billboard Charts Again Ahead of Full Group Comeback
According to the latest charts released by Billboard on January 10, BTS's anthology album 'Proof,' released in June 2022, has its track 'Run BTS' topping the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart. This achievement follows the song's success on iTunes 'Top Songs' in 61 countries, including Brazil, Finland, Mexico, and Greece, by January 2.
This success is attributed to the global ARMY's enthusiastic streaming efforts, as fans revisit the group's past tracks in anticipation of their new release. Previously, the track 'Anpanman' from their 2018 album 'LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear'' also reached number one on the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart (December 20, 2025). Additionally, RM's solo track 'Nuts' from his second album 'Right Place, Wrong Person' made a surprise re-entry at number two on the same chart (December 27, 2025) following his live broadcast.
Solo tracks by BTS members continue to perform well on Billboard's sub-charts. Jungkook's solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' ranks at 148 on the 'Global 200' and 90 on the 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart. Jin's solo album 'Echo' with the title track 'Don't Say You Love Me' is at 126, and Jimin's solo album 'MUSE' with the title track 'Who' is at 152 on the 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart. BTS's 'Proof' is positioned at number nine on the 'World Albums' chart, while Jimin's 'MUSE' is at 18.
Following the announcement of BTS's new album release, a rise in rankings was observed on global audio and music streaming platform Spotify. In the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart (December 26, 2025 - January 1, 2026), 'Who' is at 32, 'Don't Say You Love Me' at 38, 'Seven (feat. Latto)' at 62, and the duet 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' by V and Park Hyo Shin at 102. These tracks climbed 48, 36, 54, and 80 spots respectively from the previous week. The 'Weekly Top Albums Global' chart also saw upward movement, with 'Proof' rising 20 spots to 35, Jungkook's debut solo album 'GOLDEN' climbing 34 spots to 77, 'MUSE' jumping 51 spots to 117, and 'Echo' ascending 24 spots to 52.
BTS is set to release their fifth studio album on March 20, marking their first full group comeback in approximately three years and nine months. They have garnered attention by installing a sculpture of the new album's logo on the central steps of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul.
