CHUU Unveils Teaser for Debut Album 'XO, My Cyberlove', Showcasing Unique Cyber World
On the 29th, her agency ATRP released a teaser image through their official social media channels. The image, featuring a blue-toned monitor screen, includes an archive document titled 'CYBERLOVE ARCHIVES', which records a story beginning at the boundary between reality and a virtual world, sparking curiosity among fans.
The teaser, which shows how the emotion of love is recorded and stored in an environment where reality and a virtual world coexist, hints at the overarching theme of the album.
Another teaser features a notebook object designed like a floppy disk, exuding an analog charm.
Inside the notebook, texts unfold in chapters, starting with a greeting "Dear. friend, hello?" and including titles like 'Pixel Heart', 'Satellite', 'Satellite Error', 'Dark Window', 'One Light', 'Island of Delay', and 'Connect'. These texts metaphorically express the emotions reacting to a message beyond the screen, the varying speeds of emotions, and moments of deficiency occurring in the delays and distances unique to the digital environment.
Notably, the teaser also reveals CHUU's body movements and poses that perfectly blend with the narrative within the notebook, enhancing visual immersion. This presentation adds interpretive fun regarding the central figure of the narrative and expands the depth of the album's message.
CHUU's debut full-length album 'XO, My Cyberlove' is set to be officially released on January 7th at 6 PM on various music sites. The title track of the same name is a dreamy pop track capturing the evolving forms of relationships in an era where reality and virtual worlds intertwine.
