CORTIS Shines on Billboard with Debut Album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES'
According to the latest Billboard charts released on December 23, CORTIS's debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' has secured the 4th spot on the 'World Albums' chart, marking its 15th consecutive week on the chart. The album also landed at 35th on the 'Top Current Album Sales' chart, showcasing its strong sales performance in the U.S.
CORTIS has also achieved notable success in Billboard's 'The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025: Staff Picks'. Their debut album's intro track 'GO!' claimed the 2nd spot, making it the highest-ranking entry by a male artist this year.
Billboard praised the track, stating, "It sticks in your head after just one listen and brings a fresh breeze to K-pop," adding that it gained explosive popularity on social media and made waves on the Billboard charts. 'GO!' was ranked on the Billboard 'Global 200' for two consecutive weeks (September 27 and October 4), a remarkable feat for a rookie group, as this chart ranks songs based on online streaming and digital sales from over 200 countries, including the U.S.
The attention on 'GO!' extends beyond Billboard. UK fashion and culture magazine Dazed included it in 'The 30 Best K-pop Tracks of 2025', praising the group for "taking control of their music without being confined to a mold." UK music magazine NME, along with Apple Music and Spotify, also recognized 'GO!' as one of the 'Best K-pop Songs of the Year'.
American magazine Teen Vogue selected their debut album as one of the '15 Best Non-English Albums of 2025', describing it as "a work that showcases the potential of CORTIS's future musical world, leaving a strong impression that makes saying we're paying attention an understatement." All five members were also named in Teen Vogue's '50 Best Dressed of 2025', highlighting their influence in the fashion world.
Meanwhile, CORTIS is set to delight fans with cover performances of senior artists' songs on year-end music shows. They are scheduled to appear on '2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon' on December 25, '2025 Music Bank Global Festival IN JAPAN' on December 30, and 'MBC Gayo Daejejeon' on December 31. Their international activities continue as they are invited to perform on Japan's Nihon TV 'Announcement! The Most Listened Songs of the Year ~Annual Music Awards 2025~' on December 29.
