BLACKPINK's Jennie Wins 'Record of the Year' at MMA2025

BLACKPINK member and solo artist Jennie has been awarded the 'Record of the Year' at the 'MMA2025'.

The 'MMA2025' (2025 Melon Music Awards) took place on the 20th at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul.

Jennie became the recipient of the 'Record of the Year' award with her first solo studio album 'Ruby', released in March. Jennie expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you for giving me such a big award. This year has been very meaningful. My first album came out, and a lot has happened, so I'm happy to end the year like this."

She did not forget to thank those who worked hard alongside her. Jennie said, "Thank you to my company family, I love you all. Thanks to all the staff, especially those who helped create today's stage. Thank you to all 50 dancers. I will continue to make great music."

Finally, Jennie mentioned her BLACKPINK members. She said, "I miss my members so much, and being alone is lonely. I always love BLIИKs (fandom name)," which drew cheers from the audience.
