G-DRAGON, the renowned singer who recently ended a live controversy, is set to release a global collaboration remix with world-famous DJ and producer Alan Walker.

On the 19th, G-DRAGON's official fan SNS unveiled the teaser artwork for 'TOO BAD - Alan Walker Remix,' which is scheduled for release on the 20th at 2 PM.

The artwork features the names of G-DRAGON, Anderson .Paak, who participated in the original track, and Alan Walker, who is responsible for the remix. The star-shaped graphic in the artwork is reminiscent of the 'Übermensch Star Sign' used during the 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch],' which concluded with encore concerts in Seoul from December 12 to 14, seamlessly connecting the world tour's afterglow with this remix.

This collaboration is noteworthy as it brings together Alan Walker and G-DRAGON, both of whom have established their influence in the global music scene with distinct genres and styles. Alan Walker gained worldwide popularity with his 2015 single 'Faded,' becoming a representative artist in the global EDM scene and building a broad fan base through world tours and major festivals. His sound, which combines emotional melodies with mainstream appeal, is considered a prime example of expanding the expressive possibilities of the EDM genre.

G-DRAGON, transcending his status as a K-POP artist, has continuously expanded his musical identity through collaborations that cross genres and nationalities. His collaboration with global hip-hop icon Missy Elliott on 'Niliria (feat. Missy Elliott) (Missy Elliott Ver.)' bridged the gap between K-POP and the American hip-hop scene, while his work with Anderson .Paak expanded his musical spectrum based on soul and funk, continuing to explore genre-crossing projects.

The meeting of these two artists, each with different musical backgrounds and sensibilities, raises expectations for the new synergy they will create. Beyond a simple remix, 'TOO BAD' is set to offer a special sensory experience to fans as it traverses the global music scene, marking a unique conclusion to the year.

G-DRAGON is set to return to the '2025 MMA' stage for the first time in nearly a decade since 2015. The release date of this remix single coincides with the 2025 MMA (Melon Music Awards) on the 20th, heightening anticipation among fans about the possibility of witnessing the performance of this track live at the awards ceremony.
