MBC Investigates KEY's Involvement in 'Injection Aunt' Scandal Amidst 'I Live Alone' Appearance Uncertainty
MBC is currently investigating the allegations surrounding KEY's potential involvement with the controversial 'Injection Aunt,' which has raised questions about his continued appearance on the popular show 'I Live Alone.' The network stated they are "in the process of confirming details" and will update once the investigation concludes.

The production team of 'I Live Alone' informed TENASIA on the 12th that they are reviewing whether to air KEY's segments. As a regular cast member, KEY had previously shared personal stories, including his mother's retirement after 36 years as a nurse, making the recent allegations even more shocking.

On the 6th, accusations emerged against Park Na-rae for allegedly receiving IV drips and depression medication from 'Injection Aunt' A, who operated out of a private residence rather than a medical facility. Park's representatives clarified that they had requested a house call from a licensed doctor.

However, the 'Association of Doctors for a Fair Society'(공정한 사회를 바라는 의사들의 모임) pointed out that the institution where A claimed to have worked, 'Pogang Medical College,'(포강의과대학) does not exist. It was further revealed that A is neither a licensed doctor nor a nurse. Complaints have been filed with the Gangnam Police Station against Park and her former manager for violations of drug control, medical, and pharmaceutical laws.

Other celebrities, including singer-songwriter Jung Jae-hyung and SHINee members Onew and KEY, have also been linked to A. Jung Jae-hyung's representatives denied any acquaintance with A, while Onew's team stated that he only visited A's clinic through an introduction and gifted a signed CD as a token of gratitude. Meanwhile, KEY has yet to release a statement, prompting fans and some viewers of 'I Live Alone' to demand clarification from the show.

'I Live Alone' is scheduled to air tonight at 11:10 PM on MBC, with Park Na-rae's segments expected to be excluded following her official suspension from the show. Her information has already been removed from the show's website, while KEY's remains, leaving viewers curious about his potential appearance in the upcoming episode.
