CORTIS Unveils Behind-the-Scenes Photos from LA Studio for Upcoming Album 'GREENGREEN'
The vibrant atmosphere of CORTIS's music-making process has been revealed through newly released photos.

On April 9th at 9 PM, CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Gunho) shared the fourth album photo 'Portrait' from their mini 2nd album 'GREENGREEN' on their official social media. The photos were taken in a recording studio in Los Angeles, the actual workspace where both their new album and debut album were created.

Captured naturally, the images show the members deeply immersed in music or playfully interacting. Martin is seen wearing headphones and looking at a monitor, while James is caught eating a sandwich at a desk, making eye contact with the camera. Juhun gazes innocently into the lens, Sunghyun stands out with a sharp presence despite the blurred focus, and Gunho playfully drapes a shirt over his head, smiling brightly. All members are dressed casually in T-shirts, sweaters, and jackets, with bare faces.

Big Hit Music stated, "We focused on capturing CORTIS as they are, without artificial staging," adding, "We captured the most CORTIS-like moments in a space filled with the team's memories and stories." Previously, CORTIS received positive feedback for their 'BRIDGE', 'STREET', and 'STUDIO' versions, each shot in locations significant to the members, such as a memorable bridge from their pre-debut days, a street near the LA studio, and HYBE's Yongsan headquarters.

The stories tied to these locations are intriguing. With each new album photo release, a member shares anecdotes on Google Maps reviews of the shooting locations. On April 9th, James shared about the LA recording studio, "I remember leaning on the desk or sitting on the floor to avoid falling asleep on the comfy sofa. The freshly baked chocolate chip cookies at the studio were amazing." He also added, "Freestyling and joking around with everyone in front of the mic during the new album's production was fun. I'm satisfied with the album photos."

CORTIS's upcoming album 'GREENGREEN', filled with new stories, will be officially released on May 4th. The album will feature six tracks centered around the themes the team pursues and avoids. The five members have once again collaborated on music, choreography, and videos, raising anticipation. The title track 'REDRED' will be unveiled on April 20th at 6 PM.
