BTS leader RM has issued an apology following a recent live broadcast that stirred controversy among fans.

On October 8, RM took to the fan communication platform Weverse to express his regret, stating, "I apologize for causing fatigue to many ARMYs (BTS's fandom name) with my live broadcast two days ago."

He continued, "I've received many messages of concern. I regret going live, but I was overwhelmed with emotions. I'm sorry. Please try to understand."

RM reassured fans by adding, "I'll focus on making music, practicing choreography, and thinking about new content. I'll rest well." He also shared a photo of a finger heart to express his affection for the fans.

The controversy arose from a live broadcast RM conducted on Weverse on October 6, where he engaged in candid conversations with fans. During the session, some of his remarks sparked debate, including his admission of considering disbandment and the challenges he faces as the group's leader.

Meanwhile, BTS is gearing up for a comeback, aiming for a release in the spring of next year.
