BTS's Jungkook Makes History as First Korean Solo Artist on Rolling Stone UK Cover
The renowned music magazine 'Rolling Stone' recently unveiled a solo cover image featuring Jungkook. This photoshoot marks the first collaboration in Rolling Stone's history between Korea, the UK, and Japan. Jungkook has been selected as the inaugural star of this project.
Jungkook graced the cover of Rolling Stone in Korea, the UK, and Japan, with an interview inside discussing his activities, musical direction, and vision. Notably, Jungkook is the first Korean solo artist to be featured on the cover of 'Rolling Stone UK.' His photoshoot also appeared as a digital cover in the US, France, India, the Philippines, and China, making it a total of eight countries where he simultaneously adorned both print and digital covers.
In the interview, Jungkook stated, "This is a time for a new leap. I want to continue evolving by trying new things and show various aspects of myself. I aspire to be an artist who creates trends rather than follows them, and to be an artist without limits."
Recently, Jungkook achieved a milestone on the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify, with his solo songs surpassing 10 billion streams. This makes him the first Korean solo artist to reach this milestone. Additionally, his solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' became the first Korean song to surpass 2.6 billion streams.
Meanwhile, rumors have surfaced about Jungkook dating aespa's Winter, but neither party has confirmed or denied the speculation. Both agencies have remained silent on the matter.
