HWASA's 'Good Goodbye' Climbs Global Charts, Achieves Career Highs

HWASA's 'Good Goodbye' is experiencing a resurgence in popularity, climbing global charts and achieving impressive rankings.

According to the Billboard chart released on December 6th, 'Good Goodbye' has reached No. 43 on the Billboard Global 200. This marks the song's first entry into the chart since its release on October 15th.

Additionally, on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart, 'Good Goodbye' has re-entered and climbed to No. 2, marking a career high after initially debuting at No. 4.

On the iTunes Song Chart, the track has claimed the No. 1 spot in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Kyrgyzstan. It also secured No. 2 in Hong Kong and Indonesia, No. 3 in Thailand and Vietnam, No. 14 in France, and No. 27 in the United States, showcasing its widespread appeal.

Following a performance with actor Park Jung-min at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards on November 19th, 'Good Goodbye' has solidified its status as a trending hit.

On the 38th day since its release, the song topped major domestic music charts such as Melon, Bugs, and FLO. It became the first solo female artist track this year to achieve a 'Perfect All-Kill' (PAK) by reaching No. 1 on six major music sites: Melon, Genie, Bugs, YouTube Music, FLO, and VIBE.

The music video, released simultaneously with the song, is also gaining momentum, nearing 55 million views. HWASA is capturing the music industry's attention with her 'black hole' presence.

'Good Goodbye' is a warm farewell song wishing happiness for the other person. The music video, featuring HWASA and actor Park Jung-min, has garnered significant attention for their exceptional synergy. Their touching chemistry at the Blue Dragon Film Awards has contributed to the song's resurgence.

HWASA expressed her gratitude on Instagram, saying, "Thank you, Jeong-min sunbae, for sharing unforgettable moments." She also thanked her fans, known as 'MOOMOOs,' and expressed appreciation and love for Psy and Woosang.

In June 2023, HWASA signed an exclusive contract with P Nation, led by Psy. Since then, she has released empowering music such as 'I Love My Body,' 'NA,' and 'Good Goodbye,' solidifying her status as a unique female solo artist.
