Dynamic Duo's 'AEAO' Makes a Remarkable Comeback on Global Charts
Dynamic Duo's 'AEAO' is experiencing a resurgence on global charts, marking a rare long-term success in K-hip hop. Originally released in 2014 as a collaboration with DJ Premier, the track has been climbing the charts again since its first resurgence in 2023.

As of November 28, 'AEAO' has entered the Shazam Top Songs chart in nine Asian countries. In Thailand, it jumped 71 spots to reach 85th place in just one day, and in Korea, it climbed six spots to 89th. The track is also featured on Apple Music's Hip-Hop/Rap Top Songs chart in 11 Asian countries, with notable rises in the Maldives, Bhutan, Malaysia, and Thailand.

On Spotify, 'AEAO' has surpassed 100 million streams. The slow version released in 2023 has also seen an increase in streams and listeners over the past month.

The song gained renewed attention through a TikTok challenge in 2023 and was included in the original soundtrack for the NBA 2K26 video game. This marks the first time a Korean song has been featured twice in the NBA 2K series, following its initial inclusion in NBA 2K16 nearly a decade ago.

K-pop artists such as ENHYPEN, Hearts2Hearts, Cortis, NCT DREAM, ZEROBASEONE, BOYNEXTDOOR, and LE SSERAFIM have participated in the challenge, further boosting its popularity.

Even after a decade, 'AEAO' remains a staple across platforms, solidifying its status as a long-running hit in K-hip hop. Fans are eager to see what records Dynamic Duo will break next with this track.

Dynamic Duo is set to hold their solo concert 'Let's Meet Sometimes' on December 20-21 at BEXCO Auditorium in Busan, December 24 at EXCO Hall 4 in Daegu, December 27 at Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju, and January 23-25 at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul.
