LA POEM Concludes Winter Signature Concert with Enthralling Performances
Crossover group LA POEM has wrapped up their winter signature concert.

On November 29-30, LA POEM held their solo concert 'LA POEM SYMPHONY IN LOVE' at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul. This concert, which began in 2022, has become a hallmark event for the group. This year's performance, the fourth movement in collaboration with JoongAng Ilbo, garnered significant attention, especially as it marked their second consecutive year at the prestigious venue.

Under the baton of conductor Yeo Ja-kyung and accompanied by the KBS Symphony Orchestra, LA POEM opened the concert with opera classics such as 'Toreador Song' from 'Carmen', 'Flower Song', and 'Gypsy Song'. They continued to captivate the audience with Korean art songs like 'Mi Byeol' and 'Even If Life Deceives You'.

The Italian canzone medley with soprano Park So-young was a visual and auditory delight, featuring performances of 'Granada', 'Toma a Suriento', 'Non ti scordar di me', 'Marchiare', and 'O Sole Mio'. The first half concluded with a stunning rendition of 'Libiamo ne' lieti calici'.

The second half began with a vibrant selection from the musical 'Les Misérables', including 'I Dreamed a Dream', 'Stars', 'Do You Hear The People Sing?', 'Bring Him Home', and 'One Day More'.

LA POEM showcased their individual musical talents with solo performances: Jung Min-sung with 'Parla piu piano', Choi Sung-hoon with 'Climb Ev'ry Mountain', and Yoo Chae-hoon with 'I Believe'.

The concert concluded with orchestral versions of 'You Raise Me Up', 'Find The Light', 'Dazzling Night', and 'Land of the Morning'. The encore featured 'Time To Say Goodbye' and 'Eres Tú', leaving a lasting impression on the audience, who responded with tears and standing ovations.

Following the successful concert, LA POEM expressed gratitude to their fans, stating, "Completing the fourth symphony was possible thanks to our fans. We are sincerely grateful for the unwavering support over the past five years. It was an honor to perform with such esteemed individuals." They added, "With the symphony concluded, 2025 feels like a wonderful and happy year. We thank the audience and fans for their enthusiastic support and love. We will continue to repay you with great music and performances."
