aespa expressed their condolences for the victims of the large-scale fire tragedy in Hong Kong.

On the 28th, the '2025 MAMA Awards' took place at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong.

During the event, aespa received the 'Fans' Choice Female Top 10' award. Karina expressed gratitude to the fans and stated, "We extend our deepest condolences to the victims of the recent fire accident. We pray for the safe return of those still missing to their families as soon as possible."

Ningning added, "Thank you to the fans for your support. Being recognized by you is the happiest moment. We will repay you with more great works." She concluded by saying, "We express our condolences to those who lost their lives and their families due to this fire. We hope all firefighters remain safe."

Previously, on the 27th, Ningning shared on her social media, "I hope everyone is safe. Please be cautious, and I pay my respects to the firefighters. Please observe a moment of silence for the victims."

On the 26th (local time), around 2 PM, a large fire broke out in a high-rise apartment complex in the Tai Po area of northern Hong Kong, just before the 'MAMA' event. aespa contributed to the recovery efforts by donating 500,000 Hong Kong dollars (approximately $64,000).
