Virtual Idol Group PLAVE Donates to Hong Kong Fire Disaster Relief
Virtual idol group PLAVE has joined efforts to aid recovery following the tragic high-rise apartment fire in Hong Kong.

On the 28th, PLAVE expressed their condolences via their official Weibo account, stating, "We are deeply saddened by the news of the disaster in Hong Kong, China. We extend our heartfelt condolences to all the victims and express our deep respect for those who risked their lives in the rescue efforts."

They continued, "Our hearts are heavy knowing that many are suffering due to this sudden tragedy, and we are very concerned for our Hong Kong fans who have always shown us warm support. We have decided to donate 250,000 Hong Kong dollars (approximately 47 million KRW) to the Hong Kong Red Cross to aid in the relief efforts."

PLAVE added, "We hope this donation will be used meaningfully for fire suppression, victim relief, and the supply of daily necessities, and we sincerely wish for everyone's safety."

Meanwhile, the massive fire that broke out in the 'Wong Fuk Court' high-rise apartment complex in the Tai Po area of Hong Kong on the afternoon of the 26th was fully extinguished after 43 hours. The fire spread to seven of the eight buildings in the complex, resulting in at least 94 deaths and 76 injuries, including one firefighter who died in the line of duty. Authorities are currently working on an accurate count of the missing, estimated to be over 200.
