Lim Young-woong Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer for Autumn Strolls

Lim Young-woong has been voted as the number one trot singer people want to walk with on a crisp autumn day.

From October 9 to October 15, TENASIA conducted a poll asking, 'Which male trot singer would you like to walk with on a crisp autumn day?'

Lim Young-woong secured the top spot. He recently appeared on JTBC's sports variety show 'Let's Play Soccer 4(뭉쳐야 찬다4)' on October 12 and 19 to fulfill a promise. Additionally, after releasing his second studio album, Lim kicked off his 2025 nationwide tour 'IM HERO' with a concert at Songdo Convensia on October 18.

Singer Song Min-jun came in second. He rose to fame after winning the trot audition show 'Golden Mic' and placed eighth in TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot 2'. Song Min-jun is actively promoting his first mini-album 'Prologue' and held the '2025 Song Min-jun Album Release Concert Prologue' on September 20 with two shows at the Daejeon Woosong Art Center.

Kim Jung-yeon took third place. He recently appeared on MBN's 'Family Harmony(가화만사성)' showcasing his close relationship with his mother. During the show, Kim and his mother, Jung Yo-sim, shared their unique bond. Kim mentioned, "I've been close with my mom like a neighborhood friend since childhood," attributing their closeness to frequent physical affection. His mother added, "We hug, pat each other, and even kiss," adding warmth to the show.

Currently, on the TENASIA website(topten.tenasia.com), polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to eat warm chicken soup with as the weather cools?', 'Which female singer would you like to eat warm chicken soup with as the weather cools?', 'Which male trot singer would you like to eat warm chicken soup with as the weather cools?', and 'Which female trot singer would you like to drink traditional liquor with in the cool autumn weather?'
