Wendy of Red Velvet Tops Poll as the Singer Fans Want to Walk with on a Chilly Autumn Day
The poll was conducted by TENASIA from October 9 to October 15, asking fans, "Which female singer would you like to walk with on a chilly autumn day?"
Wendy secured the top spot. She recently kicked off her first solo world tour, '2025 WENDY 1st WORLD TOUR 'W:EALIVE' IN SEOUL,' with performances on September 20 and 21 at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul. The event marked the beginning of her debut solo world tour and was met with enthusiastic applause from fans. Wendy transitioned to ASND Entertainment after ending her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment in April.
In second place was Yuri from the group Girls' Generation. She is set to begin her third fan meeting tour, 'YURIVERSE,' starting in Bangkok on November 1, followed by stops in Ho Chi Minh City, Taipei, and other locations across Asia. The title 'YURIVERSE' reflects her desire to connect with fans as one in the universe. Yuri has also recently participated in the 'UNICEF TEAM' campaign, which aims to unite people to support children worldwide facing challenges such as war, disaster, and poverty.
Singer Choi Yena took third place. She appeared on the MBC variety show 'Radio Star' on October 8, alongside film director Jang Jin, actor Kim Ji-hoon, and broadcaster Kim Kyung-ran, for a special Chuseok episode. Following her appearance, she shared that Jang Won-young of IVE was the first to contact her, and humorously mentioned her father's praise, saying, "He said I was brave for getting Mr. Gura to dance."
Currently, the TENASIA website(topten.tenasia.com) is hosting polls on topics such as "Which male singer would you like to enjoy warm chicken soup with as the weather cools?" and "Which female singer would you like to enjoy warm chicken soup with as the weather cools?" as well as similar polls for male and female trot singers.
