Trot Star Park Seo-jin Releases New Song 'Your Story' After Winning 'The King of Live Singers 2'

Park Seo-jin, the winner of 'The King of Live Singers 2', is set to release his victory song 'Your Story' today at 6 PM. Ahead of the release, he shared his thoughts in a four-question interview.

As the second 'King of Live Singers', Park Seo-jin is known for his unique drum performances and has garnered much love from both 'The King of Live Singers 2' and the '2025 Korea-Japan King of Singers Competition'.

The victory song 'Your Story' is a collaboration between Park Seo-jin and the renowned composer Yoon Myung-sun, known for multiple hit songs. The song features a mature melody, profound lyrics, and heartfelt vocals, showcasing Park Seo-jin's charm.

In anticipation of the release, Park Seo-jin shared his thoughts in a written interview.

Q1. 'Your Story' was composed and written by Yoon Myung-sun, who was also a master on 'The King of Live Singers 2'. How was it working with him as a producer?

Yoon Myung-sun is like a bouncing ball, unpredictable and full of surprises. Even during casual conversations, he would suddenly get inspired, truly embodying the spirit of an artist. During recording, he conducted me as if I were an instrument, and although I was initially skeptical, the song turned out beautifully. It was a new experience for me.

Q2. Fans were moved to tears during the encore concert of 'The King of Live Singers 2' when they heard 'Your Story'. What do you think touched them?

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe the gentle start of the song, combined with the lyrics, provided comfort and resonated with them. The lyrics might have struck a chord with those who wanted to convey or hear such sentiments from loved ones.

Q3. What did you focus on while singing 'Your Story', and who do you hope will listen to it?

I tried to sing it calmly, setting aside my emotions. I hope people listen to 'Your Story' when they need comfort or stability. While my fanbase is primarily female, I encourage men to listen and perhaps sing it to their loved ones in karaoke.

Q4. Do you plan to perform 'Your Story' at the upcoming Korea-Japan TOP7 joint concert, and how do you plan to captivate Japanese fans?

I plan to perform 'Your Story' at the Korea-Japan TOP7 joint concert. I'm considering singing it in Japanese for the audience. Additionally, I want to showcase my drum performance as an instrument, not just a dance, highlighting both excitement and emotion with our traditional instrument.
