G-Dragon Stars in Promotional Video for 2025 APEC Summit as Ambassador

K-pop star G-Dragon has pinned a promotional video for the 2025 APEC Summit, where he serves as an ambassador, on his social media.

On November 2, G-Dragon shared a video on his Instagram with the caption, "🧑‍✈️'Welcome to APEC 2025 KOREA'👩🏻‍✈️ The world is heading to Gyeongju✈️."

The video features G-Dragon acting in the promotional content for the 2025 APEC Summit. The video also includes appearances by director Park Chan-wook, former soccer star Park Ji-sung, chef Ahn Sung-jae, IVE member Jang Won-young, and President Lee Jae-myung.

As the ambassador for the 2025 APEC Summit, G-Dragon participates in a meeting of pilots representing various countries. Notably, President Lee Jae-myung makes a cameo as a parking attendant assisting G-Dragon in reversing a plane.

G-Dragon has pinned this video on his social media, and fans have reacted with comments like, "This is the first time I'm looking forward to an APEC Summit. Hope it goes well," and "He was supposed to promote it, but it looks like he shot a movie."

Regarding the video, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "This is a symbolic example of Korea's innovative icons and creative groups coming together," adding that it will help spread the message of 'Advancing to the world through connection and innovation at APEC.' The promotional video is being broadcast on TV, outdoor billboards, YouTube, and other domestic and international channels starting today.
