XIA Junsu Reveals Why He's Holding a Concert in October Instead of Year-End
XIA Junsu, the renowned singer and musical actor, has shared the reason behind his decision to hold a concert in October instead of the usual year-end performance.

On the 27th, the 'Asia Top Artist Festival 2025' (ATA Festival) took place at the Youth Square in Hangang Nanji Park, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Junsu headlined the event, with Jannabi and Peppertones as sub-headliners. Other performers included Lee Mujin, 10CM, Park Hye-won, Kyungseo, H1-KEY, Say My Name, and Hwang Garam.

During his performance, Junsu shared, "I've been performing in the musical 'Aladdin' for a year now, three times a week without missing a show. Tomorrow is the final performance. Right after, I'll be taking the KTX to Busan. This festival gives me the strength to finish tomorrow's show well."

Junsu also explained why he won't be holding a year-end concert this year. "The casting for the musical 'Beetlejuice' was announced two days ago. The reason I can't do a year-end concert is because of 'Beetlejuice.' The vocal style is quite taxing, making it difficult to sing pop songs. That's why I quickly scheduled a concert for October. The future seems daunting with so much to do, but I'm looking forward to meeting everyone," he revealed. 'Beetlejuice' is set to open on December 16 at the LG Arts Center in Seoul.

Junsu's special mission was to share 'Today's TMI.' When an audience member asked what he ate today, Junsu replied, "I had beef bone soup, boiled pork, and spicy octopus noodles. I also had kimchi noodles backstage."

The 'ATA Festival' is a vibrant event with a diverse lineup of artists, catering to audiences of all ages. On the second day, the headliner will be Kim Jaejoong, with performances by The Boyz, Tours, Cravity, Ha Sung-woon, Fifty Fifty, 82Major, QWER, Eunice, Bad Villain, and New Beat.
