HYNN Surprises Fans with A Cappella Performance Ahead of 'The Day You Blow' Release at ATA Festival 2025

Singer HYNN (Park Hye-won) delighted fans with a surprise a cappella performance of her upcoming remake song 'The Day You Blow' before its official release.

On the 27th, the 'Asia Top Artist Festival 2025' (ATA Festival) took place at the Youth Square in Hangang Nanji Park, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The headliner for the event was singer and musical actor Kim Junsu, with Jannabi and Peppertones as sub-headliners. Other performers included Lee Mujin, 10CM, Park Hye-won, Kyungseo, H1-KEY, Say My Name, and Hwang Garam.

Park Hye-won opened the stage with 'To Today' and expressed her amazement at the enthusiastic cheers from the audience. She remarked, "The cheers are incredibly loud," and added, "Many people are enjoying the ATA Festival. I could feel the atmosphere as soon as I sang the first song. With such an enthusiastic audience, I believe we can have a successful festival. Although I came alone without a band today, I don't feel lonely thanks to the energetic crowd."

Following this, Park Hye-won captivated the audience with her powerful rendition of Lee Juck's 'Running in the Sky,' a song she remade for the 2021 OST of 'Hospital Playlist 2,' prompting a sing-along from the crowd. During 'To You (EUROPA),' she handed the microphone to the audience, engaging them in the performance.

After performing 'You, Blue, Fish,' Park Hye-won chose her hit song 'As If You Were Watering a Wilted Flower.' Before singing, she commented, "I'm not sure if this song suits the sunny weather, but I feel like I should share at least one ballad. 'As If You Were Watering a Wilted Flower' is a challenging song, but with all of you, I can sing it with all my heart." She delivered a powerful high note performance, receiving enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.

Park Hye-won's special mission was to sing a line from a song she loves. She shared, "On October 1st, I will release a remake of MC the Max's 'The Day You Blow.' Before its release, I thought I'd give you a sneak peek. I performed this song on the busking program 'The Listen,' and thanks to the love it received, I gained the courage to work on this remake." The video of her performance of 'The Day You Blow' on 'The Listen' surpassed 4 million views, becoming a hot topic.

Following 'The Day You Blow,' Park Hye-won sang a line from 'If I Were' a cappella and concluded her set with 'I'll Cheer for You Today.'

The 'ATA Festival' is an event with a diverse lineup of artists that people of all ages can enjoy. On the second day, the headliner will be Kim Jaejoong, with performances by The Boyz, Tours, Cravity, Ha Sung-woon, Fifty Fifty, 82Major, QWER, Eunice, Bad Villain, and New Beat.
