Kickflip Returns with 'My First Flip' Amid Amaru's Hiatus

Kickflip is making a comeback with their third mini-album 'My First Flip' despite member Amaru's hiatus.

On the 22nd, Kickflip held a media showcase at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their new album.

Amaru will not participate in this promotion due to health reasons. JYP Entertainment announced on the fan community on the 17th, five days before the comeback, "Amaru has been experiencing psychological anxiety and has been advised by medical professionals to take sufficient rest and treatment."

Member Donghyun expressed, "It's unfortunate that Amaru won't be joining us for the third album activities. We are waiting for him to return healthy. The six of us will work hard to fill his absence."

The title track 'A Song I've Never Sung Before' is an upbeat dance track based on pop-punk, blending powerful synth sounds and guitar riffs. It captures the thrilling moment of confessing a first love, with the youngest member Donghyun contributing to the lyrics and composition, showcasing his musical talent.

The new album narrates a slightly awkward first love story. It includes a total of seven tracks, such as 'Band-Aid', 'Singularity', 'Again, Here', 'Gas On It', '404: Not Found', and 'It's a Secret I Had a Nightmare'. All members participated in the production of the entire album.

Kickflip's mini-album 'My First Flip' will be released at 6 PM today.
