Shin Seung-hun Discusses the Evolution of Ballads at 'SINCERELY MELODIES' Album Launch
"Ballad singers have become background music artists over time. In the past, people paid to listen to music, but now ballads have become background music," remarked singer Shin Seung-hun at a press conference for the release of his 12th studio album, 'SINCERELY MELODIES,' held at the Novotel Ambassador in Gangnam, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 22nd.

When asked about the value of ballad music, Shin Seung-hun stated, "Even as time passes, ballads will remain like standards. They exist in everyday memories, but they just don't stand out. K-pop idol groups are doing so well that I can't say ballads will win over them," he explained. "However, as the same things keep getting exposed, I believe the public will soon seek out ballads. I came out with the thought that 'ballads are for autumn and winter' and to contribute to that."

Shin Seung-hun's 12th studio album, 'SINCERELY MELODIES,' marks his first full-length release in a decade. The album features a total of 11 tracks, all of which he participated in producing and composing. The title tracks are 'Gravity of You' and 'TRULY.' 'Gravity of You' explores the beginning and end of love, and the emotions that follow, centered around acoustic and electric guitar melodies. 'TRULY' is a straightforward expression of the true feelings of love realized over time.

Shin Seung-hun's 12th studio album, 'SINCERELY MELODIES,' will be available on various music streaming sites at 6 PM on the 23rd.
