K-Pop Group 82MAJOR Signs Exclusive Contract with Japan's HoriPro International

The group, consisting of members Nam Seongmo, Park Seokjoon, Yoon Yechan, Cho Seongil, Hwang Seongbin, and Kim Dogyun, announced on the 10th that they have partnered with HoriPro International and Japan's largest ticket service, eplus, to launch an official fan club in Japan, marking the beginning of their activities in the country.
HoriPro International, a division of one of Japan's top three agencies, HoriPro Group, will oversee 82MAJOR's management in Japan. Known for managing top Japanese actors like Satomi Ishihara, Kyoko Fukada, Haruka Ayase, Satoshi Tsumabuki, Ryohei Suzuki, and Ryoma Takeuchi, HoriPro will leverage its extensive experience to support 82MAJOR's rise as a 'major' artist in the Japanese market.
The collaboration also includes eplus, Japan's largest ticket service with over 25 million members and a stronghold in IT-driven marketing. eplus will utilize its marketing prowess to expand 82MAJOR's reach among Japanese fans.
With HoriPro International and eplus providing strategic support through their expertise and networks, and Korean agency Great M Entertainment contributing top-tier creative and production capabilities, the synergy is expected to maximize 82MAJOR's impact. Notably, SM Entertainment's involvement as a second-largest shareholder in Great M Entertainment further strengthens this global collaboration, boosting 82MAJOR's prospects for a successful Japanese debut.
82MAJOR will open their official Japanese fan club '82DE' (Attitude) and hold their first fan meeting in Japan on December 21 at Tokyo's Nissho Hall. The event will feature talks, live performances, and various segments allowing fans to connect closely with the members.
True to their name, which signifies their ambition to become 'major' beyond Korea, 82MAJOR plans to solidify their presence in the Asian market through this partnership with a leading Japanese management company. As they expand their global reach, fans eagerly anticipate the unique charm 82MAJOR will bring to Japan.
Debuting in 2023, 82MAJOR has been recognized as a 'performance idol' group, rapidly growing their fan base. Within three months of debut, they held a sold-out solo concert, and their fourth solo concert also sold out. Recently, they completed a successful tour across 25 North American cities and captivated local fans with a dynamic performance at the 'EveryOne Fes 2025' in Nagoya, Japan, commemorating the 60th anniversary of Korea-Japan diplomatic relations.
82MAJOR is currently preparing for a comeback album set for October and will host their first fan meeting '82DE WORLD' on the 20 at Donghae Culture and Arts Center, Kwangwoon University, Seoul.
