Tamago Production announced on the 1st that QWER will embark on their debut world tour, 'ROCKATION.' The tour kicks off with performances from November 3-5 at the Olympic Park Ticketlink Live Arena in Seoul, followed by concerts across North America and Asia.

QWER was formed through the YouTube project 'Favorite's Children,' planned by YouTuber Kim Gyeran. The band consists of members from diverse backgrounds, including YouTuber and streamer Chodan, TikToker Hina, and former NMB48 member Ishiyun.

Initially, QWER faced skepticism about their musical authenticity, as most members, except Ishiyun, were influencers. However, they proved their dedication through practice content and musical achievements.

QWER debuted during a surge in the domestic band scene and quickly gained public attention. Their singles, including 'Discord,' 'Addicted to Worry,' 'My Name is Clear,' and 'Holding Back Tears,' have all ranked high on Melon's TOP100 chart. Their debut single 'Discord' reached 27th place, while 'Addicted to Worry' climbed to 3rd, and 'My Name is Clear' peaked at 2nd.

One reason for QWER's popularity is their equitable distribution of musical parts, allowing each member to showcase their unique charm. Unlike typical indie bands where the main vocalist takes the spotlight, QWER's members, including drummer Chodan, guitarist Hina, and bassist Magenta, all share vocal duties alongside main vocalist Ishiyun. This strategic choice considers their influencer backgrounds and existing fanbase.

Ahead of their world tour, QWER will perform at the global music festival 'ATA Festival 2025' on September 28 at Nanji Hangang Park. Other performers on the same day include Kim Jaejoong, The Boyz, Tours, Cravity, Ha Sungwoon, Fifty Fifty, 82Major, Eunice, Bad Villain, and New Beat. The first day of the festival, September 27, will feature Kim Junsu, Jannabi, Peppertones, Lee Mujin, 10cm, Park Hyewon, Kyungseo, H1-KEY, Say My Name, and Hwang Garam.
