Pledis Entertainment unveiled the trailer 'JOIN OUR VIBE' for S.Coups and Mingyu's mini album 'HYPE VIBES' at midnight on the 3rd.
Shot in Los Angeles, the video captures S.Coups and Mingyu enjoying every moment in their own unique way. After a wild party, the duo wakes up disheveled and fills their day with new events. Their effortlessly 'cool' charm blends seamlessly with the exotic backdrop.
Towards the end of the video, a beach party scene shows S.Coups and Mingyu mingling with people of diverse tastes and appearances, grooving to the rhythm. Their lifestyle and free-spirited aura exude bright energy.
The trailer also introduces intriguing 3D characters 'Kute' and 'Mante,' extraterrestrial beings visiting Earth to recharge with music. Initially appearing faint, these characters become more vivid as they interact with people.
The album title 'HYPE VIBES' reflects a hot and free atmosphere where anyone can join and connect. S.Coups and Mingyu's attitude of living in the moment without constraints naturally shines through. Initially planned as a single, the project expanded into a mini album to express the vibrant and organic 'now' of their daily lives.
S.Coups and Mingyu have showcased a wide musical spectrum through SEVENTEEN's group albums, hip-hop team, Leaders (S.Coups, Hoshi, Woozi), Wonwoo x Mingyu unit songs, and their individual songwriting and composing efforts.
SEVENTEEN's group activities continue as they kick off their world tour 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]' on the 13th and 14th at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. The tour will proceed to Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on the 27th and 28th, followed by five North American cities in October, and four major domes in Japan from November to December.
