Cortis Shines on 'it's Live' with Psychedelic Rock Performance of 'What You Want'
On the 2nd at 5 PM, Cortis members Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho performed their debut album's title track 'What You Want' with a band arrangement on 'it's Live'. The performance was highlighted by psychedelic rock-inspired guitar riffs and ad-lib vocal techniques.
Cortis, who debuted on August 18th, has been making waves with their unique treadmill performance on music shows. They have also showcased their live performances on KBS Cool FM's 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show', YouTube channel 'SoundBOMB360˚', and 'Storelink Live'.
'What You Want' climbed to 15th place on Korea's Apple Music 'Today's Top 100' chart on September 1st, a significant rise from its initial entry at 91st place on August 20th.
Cortis is the first new group introduced by Big Hit Music, a subsidiary of HYBE, in six years following BTS and Tomorrow X Together. The team operates as a 'young creator crew', collaboratively producing music, choreography, and videos while releasing their own content. Their first self-produced content 'Pack Up Bro', released on August 21st, has surpassed 1 million views.
