BLACKPINK Makes History as First K-Pop Girl Group to Headline Wembley Stadium

On the 20th, YG Entertainment announced, "BLACKPINK successfully concluded their 'Deadline' world tour in the UK on the 15th and 16th (local time) at Wembley Stadium in London."
Wembley Stadium, known as the 'holy ground of pop,' has hosted legendary performances by Queen during 'Live Aid' in 1985, as well as by global superstars like Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift. By performing at this venue, BLACKPINK set another historic milestone, drawing a crowd of 110,000 fans.

The solo stages, showcasing each member's distinct personality, added variety to the performance. The full-group performance of their new song 'JUMP' was particularly dynamic, energizing the fans. The members delivered powerful performances with vibrant live band accompaniment, showcasing stable vocals and seasoned stage presence that kept the audience enthralled at every moment.
The YG-style stage production, befitting the stadium's scale, enhanced the concert's overall quality. Spectacular special effects, sensory graphics, and breathtaking fireworks illuminated the London night sky, amplifying the emotional impact. Additionally, a surprise appearance by FKA Twigs in Rosé's opening VCR and the members' encore performance of the Spice Girls' 'Wannabe' created unforgettable memories for local fans.

Following the London concert, major international media outlets spotlighted BLACKPINK's achievements. The BBC in the UK noted, "They have reaffirmed their position as the world's top girl group," while Billboard in the US praised, "BLACKPINK reminds us how they became the world's leading girl group."
Having successfully concluded the European leg of their tour in London, BLACKPINK has reached the halfway point of their tour, which spans 16 cities and 31 shows. Starting in October, they will continue their journey across Asia, visiting cities such as Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
