Vince, known for his impressive production work with BIGBANG's Taeyang and the Netflix animation 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' is making a comeback as an artist.

In a recent interview with TenAsia at a cafe in Yongsan, Seoul, Vince shared insights into his upcoming digital single 'Cha Cha Cha,' featuring BIGBANG's G-Dragon.

Describing 'Cha Cha Cha' as a "light and cheerful" track, Vince expressed his hope that it would be a song everyone can enjoy during the remaining summer nights.

He stated, "In the past, I aimed to present a darker sound and image, but this time, I wanted to highlight my brighter side and show my true self."

Vince expressed gratitude to G-Dragon for agreeing to feature on the track, saying, "It was a smooth process. G-Dragon often visited our agency while working on his solo album after his military service. The producer I worked with asked him to feature on the song."

He added, "As the arrangement of the song kept changing, I had to ask G-Dragon to record new versions of his part several times. He never showed any reluctance, and I'm very thankful for that."

Vince, who also produced for the mixed group All Day Project and the globally popular Netflix animation 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' shared his experiences working on these projects.

He said, "I worked really hard as the dedicated producer for All Day Project, and I'm thrilled with its success. As for 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' I had forgotten about it after finishing last year. It was like a surprise gift when it was released."

Vince produced the OST tracks 'Your Idol' and 'Soda Pop' for 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' noting, "The production company had very clear requirements. It was different from working with K-pop idols, where you incorporate the members' stories. It was a new but enjoyable experience over two years."

He added, "As a producer, I'm not often in the media spotlight, but appearing in the news for 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' made my family and friends proud."

Vince, an alumnus of New York University like actor Lee Seo-jin, originally pursued a different career path. "I was an economics major but switched to 'Music Business' because of my passion for music. However, the average salary for graduates was low, so I considered becoming a copyright lawyer," he recalled.

He continued, "While preparing for law school, I taught myself music production and uploaded tracks to SoundCloud. Producer Teddy reached out, and I joined The Black Label eight years ago, abandoning my law school plans. I'm a lucky person."

Vince debuted as a singer-songwriter and producer in 2019 with 'Mennal.' He has produced music for artists like Taeyang, Jeon Somi, and groups like Miyao and All Day Project. His single 'Cha Cha Cha' is a hip-hop R&B track with a lively Latin cha-cha rhythm, inspired by Seol Woon-do's 'Together Cha Cha Cha,' for which he received permission from the original artist.

Vince's digital single 'Cha Cha Cha,' featuring G-Dragon, will be released on various music platforms at 6 PM on the 18th.
