BLACKPINK's 'Pink Venom' Music Video Surpasses 1 Billion Views on YouTube

BLACKPINK's pre-release track 'Pink Venom' from their second studio album has reached a significant milestone, surpassing 1 billion views on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment, the music video for 'Pink Venom' crossed the 1 billion view mark at approximately 12:52 AM on the 4th. This achievement comes nearly three years after its release on August 19, 2022.

With this, BLACKPINK now boasts a total of nine videos with over 1 billion views. Their previous hits include 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' (2.3 billion views), 'Kill This Love' (2.1 billion views), 'How You Like That' performance video (1.8 billion views) and music video (1.3 billion views), 'BOOMBAYAH' (1.8 billion views), 'As If It's Your Last' (1.4 billion views), Lisa's solo track 'MONEY' exclusive performance video (1.1 billion views), and Jennie's solo track 'SOLO' (1 billion views).

To date, BLACKPINK's YouTube channel has produced a total of 50 videos with over 100 million views, amassing more than 39.5 billion cumulative views. The channel currently boasts over 98.2 million subscribers.

The 'Pink Venom' music video set a world record for female artists by achieving 90.4 million views within 24 hours of its release. It also became the fastest K-pop girl group video to reach 100 million views in just 29 hours and 35 minutes, and 200 million views in just over seven days, signaling an unprecedented wave of popularity.

'Pink Venom' is a hip-hop track that highlights BLACKPINK's signature charisma. The song captivates listeners from the intro with its intense beats and the sound of traditional Korean instruments, complemented by sharp rap and lethal vocals that showcase each member's unique charm.
