On the afternoon of the 28th, SEVENTOEIGHT held a debut media showcase at the Shocking K-Pop Center in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

During the event, member Kyojun expressed his excitement about debuting, saying, "I was an athlete, but being on stage feels completely different. I've always given my best to get here. Debuting in Korea is a great honor and joy for me. I will work hard to show different sides of myself and perform on stage as if I'm competing in a match."

Diom also shared his disbelief and happiness, stating, "It's hard to believe this moment is real. I've worked hard and gone through a lot, so I'm very happy. I've always wanted to debut in Korea since I was young. I'm grateful to my team members and fans."

When asked about the challenges of being a group with all foreign members, Chiwon responded, "Singing and dancing in Korean is indeed challenging. I'm studying hard and striving to improve."

Exy revealed their plans, saying, "We plan to perform on domestic music shows and then head to Taiwan for activities. We aim to continue our activities between Taiwan and Korea."

Jagger added, "As Diom mentioned, K-pop has given us a lot of energy. I'm glad to be on this stage, and my dream is to convey that energy to others."

Regarding their goals, Chiwon stated, "Our goal is to expand globally. We want to stand on bigger stages and deliver our energy to everyone."

Kyojun shared his aspirations, "The K-pop stage is a dream for everyone. I want to be someone who can inspire others. I will strive to shine not only on stage but also behind the scenes."

Diom reflected on his childhood, saying, "I grew up watching K-pop. Seeing my favorite seniors perform inspired me to want to perform on stage. That's why I wanted to debut in Korea."

Exy mentioned BTS's Jimin as his role model, saying, "I really admire Jimin. He's an amazing singer and my vocal role model." Em also expressed admiration for BTS's V, stating, "I'm a fan of V. His stage presence is incredible, and I've learned a lot from him."

Diom added, "I like BIGBANG's GD (G-Dragon). My parents are dancers, so I grew up listening to music. I want to perform well on stage like him."

SEVENTOEIGHT released their debut single album 'SEVENTOEIGHT,' featuring the title track 'PDSR (Please Don't Stop The Rain)' and 'DRIP & DROP.' 'PDSR' is a summer-themed song with bright and refreshing guitar sounds, while 'DRIP & DROP' is a deep house track showcasing SEVENTOEIGHT's sexy masculinity.

The debut single album 'SEVENTOEIGHT' will be available on various music platforms at 6 PM on the 28th.
