YUQI of (G)I-DLE Lends Support to Rookie Group NOWZ with New Single
On the 25th, Cube Entertainment released the second behind-the-scenes video for NOWZ's pre-release single 'Fly Freely (Feat. YUQI)' on (G)I-DLE's official channel. YUQI not only wrote and composed the song but also featured and produced it, enhancing its quality.
In the video, YUQI explained, "I wanted to convey a message to the youth in their 20s, who are hurt and wandering for various reasons like friendship, love, and life, that 'no matter what wounds you receive, you can rise again.'"
YUQI visited the music video set to watch the juniors' performances, offering advice and bringing a coffee truck to show her support. In response, the members of NOWZ expressed their gratitude with a bouquet of roses, creating a warm atmosphere.
YUQI shared, "'Fly Freely' is the first song I'm gifting to another artist, so I'm very excited. I hope both Day& and Neverland will enjoy it," adding, "I'm proud to have created a song that suits NOWZ's youthful spirit."
'Fly Freely (Feat. YUQI)' is a pop genre track highlighted by its guitar riff, capturing the emotions of youth wandering between endless anxiety and self-doubt. A Chinese version was also released on the 23rd, garnering a global response.
Meanwhile, NOWZ is set to release their first mini-album 'IGNITION' on July 9th at 6 PM.
