Yoon further dispelled the rumors by posting a photo with Ben, stating, "Don't worry. We are close."

In May 2023, Ben filed a lawsuit against her former agency, Major9, seeking approximately 700 million won over settlement issues and contract termination disputes. In September, the court advised both parties to reach a settlement, but the mediation was unsuccessful. The first official hearing is scheduled for the 23rd at the Seoul Central District Court.

Ben debuted in 2010 as a member of the co-ed vocal group Bebe Mignon, produced by Yoon Min-soo. After the group disbanded, she launched her solo career in 2012, releasing numerous hits like '180 Degrees,' 'Love, ing,' 'Like a Dream,' and 'Thank You for Breaking Up with Me,' establishing herself as a unique emotional vocalist. Ben has been a musical protégé and long-time colleague of Yoon Min-soo, working together at Major9 for many years.

Meanwhile, Ben registered her marriage with Lee Wook, chairman of the W Foundation, in 2020, but entered divorce proceedings at the end of 2023. The divorce is reportedly due to the other party's fault, and Ben has been granted custody of their daughter.
