SEVENTEEN's Fifth Studio Album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' and Title Track 'THUNDER' Dominate Charts Worldwide
SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) continues their chart-topping streak with their fifth studio album and its title track.

The title track 'THUNDER' from SEVENTEEN's fifth studio album has reached the top of the Bugs daily chart as of May 31. The song initially entered the chart at number two on May 27 and maintained a high position before finally claiming the top spot. Notably, 'THUNDER' also achieved the highest ranking on Melon's 'Top 100', often referred to as the 'concrete chart'.

The fifth studio album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' has also dominated music charts both domestically and internationally. Upon its release in Japan, the album held the number one spot on Oricon's 'Daily Album Ranking' for four consecutive days (May 27-30). It became the only K-pop album released this year to achieve double million-seller status on its first day, immediately topping the Hanteo Chart's daily album chart. Additionally, it swept the top positions on global album charts, including 'Worldwide iTunes Album', Japan's major Line Music's real-time and daily 'Album Top 100', and China's QQ Music daily 'Digital Best-Selling Album'.

International media outlets have also responded enthusiastically to SEVENTEEN's comeback. On May 31, Grammy.com praised 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' for showcasing the members' outstanding musical talents, predicting that SEVENTEEN will open a new chapter not only with their new album but also with their tour and new unit single albums. Other accolades include Billboard's description of 'THUNDER' as "explosive and captivating, unlike any other song," and NME's praise for the fifth studio album as a successful demonstration of SEVENTEEN's evolution over the past decade.

SEVENTEEN is fueling the excitement by appearing on various music shows. They delivered a passionate performance of 'THUNDER' on Mnet's 'M Countdown' on May 29, KBS2's 'Music Bank' on May 30, and MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on May 31. The members are set to appear on SBS's 'Inkigayo' today (June 1).
