SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has taken the music world by storm with their fifth studio album, 'HAPPY BURSTDAY', topping both digital and physical charts.

The album's title track, 'THUNDER', made an impressive debut at No. 7 on Melon's 'Top 100' upon its release on October 26 at 6 PM, and quickly climbed to No. 1 by midnight on October 27.

The album's success doesn't stop there. Six tracks, including 'HBD' and 'Bad Influence (prod. Pharrell Williams)', entered the 'Top 10', while all 10 individual tracks secured spots within the Top 30. The album has also seen significant success on Genie Music and Bugs, with all tracks ranking prominently.

On the sales front, 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' sold an astounding 2,269,401 copies on its first day, according to Hanteo Chart, securing the No. 1 spot on the daily album chart.

Additionally, SEVENTEEN achieved No. 1 on iTunes 'Top Albums' chart in 15 countries and regions, and topped the 'Worldwide iTunes Album' chart. The title track 'THUNDER' also reached No. 1 on the 'Top Songs' chart in 13 countries and regions, climbing to No. 7 on the 'Worldwide iTunes Song' chart. SEVENTEEN's global appeal is further evidenced by their No. 2 ranking on the 'European iTunes Album' chart, and No. 1 on Japan's Line Music 'Album Top 100' and China's QQ Music daily 'Digital Bestselling Album' chart.

The music video for 'THUNDER' is also gaining traction, quickly amassing views and ranking No. 2 on YouTube Korea's 'Trending Music Videos'. It has also secured top spots in trending videos in Canada, the UK, the US, Singapore, Thailand, and more.

This comeback has reignited interest in SEVENTEEN's previous works. Their 2018 special album 'DIRECTOR'S CUT' track 'I’m Going to Find You Now' has re-entered Melon's 'Top 100' at No. 38, seven years after its release. This resurgence is attributed to their performance of the song at the 'B-DAY PARTY: BURST Stage @Jamsugyo' event on October 25.

SEVENTEEN is set to appear on various music shows, starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on October 29. Prior to this, they will release two special episodes of their content series 'GOING SEVENTEEN' on October 28. Additionally, their variety show 'Nana Minbak with SEVENTEEN', produced by Na Young-seok, will premiere on Weverse, tvN, and Disney+ on November 2.
