Xdinary Heroes Conclude Their 'Beautiful Mind' World Tour in Seoul with a Bang
"Seeing all of you fill this venue, I wonder if one day this place will feel too small for us. I hope to say goodbye to this venue after today's performance and move on to bigger stages." - Juyeon
Xdinary Heroes have outgrown the Olympic Hall. The band wrapped up their four-day journey with a packed house.
On the 5th, Xdinary Heroes (XH) held the final show of their new world tour, 'Xdinary Heroes World Tour' (referred to as 'Beautiful Mind'), at the Olympic Hall in Seoul's Songpa District. This marks the last of their performances from the 2nd to the 4th. 'Beautiful Mind' is their second world tour, showcasing a larger scale compared to their first.

The band kicked off the night with their new title track 'Beautiful Life,' showcasing their diverse charm. They followed up with 'XYMPHONY,' highlighting a striking keyboard melody. Jeongsu captivated the audience with his dazzling keyboard performance, while Odd took over the keys when Jeongsu sang, blending vocals and instrumentals seamlessly.
After performing six consecutive songs, the members greeted the audience with confidence. Juyeon, who gained the title '4th Generation Vocal Top' after a viral festival performance of 'Strawberry Cake,' proudly introduced himself with the moniker. Jeongsu, embracing his roots, introduced himself as the 'Prince of Ilsan visiting Olympic Hall.'

The members added a twist to their live performances, enhancing the vibrancy. Juyeon and Jeongsu delivered the highlight of 'AGAIN? AGAIN!' with powerful vocals, while Odd altered the lyrics to charm the fans.
Instrumental solos added variety to the stage. The band used solos as transitions between songs, with Juyeon's bass solo bridging 'Bad Chemical' and 'LOVE and FEAR.' Before 'George the Lobster,' Jeongsu and Odd showcased their keyboard skills. Gunil's drumming led into 'Sucker Punch!' and Gaon's guitar solo set the stage for 'Walking to the Moon.' Junhan's guitar solo heated up the atmosphere before 'Break the Brake.' Each instrument's distinct color shone through, keeping the audience engaged between songs.

Odd brought back the shoulder keyboard, roaming the stage with it, a move he first introduced in a concert last November. Juyeon noted, "Odd kept his promise by bringing back the keytar he first showed last year." Odd introduced the instrument, saying, "It can make a lot of sounds, especially sharp ones," adding a touch of charm.
The members maintained high energy throughout. During the final song, 'Money On My Mind,' Gaon performed lying down, playing his instrument, while Odd joined him with the shoulder keyboard. Juyeon played bass over them, headbanging all the while.

Stage props and structures enhanced the immersive experience. A flag appeared during 'Bicycle,' adding grandeur. A butterfly-shaped structure descended during 'Walking to the Moon,' casting a dreamy aura. 'PLUTO' featured star-themed graphics, while 'Night before the end' was bathed in red, evoking a fiery spectacle. Odd's megaphone performance during 'FEELING NICE' and 'MONEYBALL' drew attention.
However, the lighting left something to be desired. Spotlights focused solely on singing members, making it difficult to appreciate the instrumental performances, a key aspect of band shows.

The intense setlist posed a challenge. Gunil admitted, "I've never felt such pressure for a concert before. The setlist was tough, and we needed breaks during rehearsals, but completing it felt liberating and joyful." Juyeon echoed, "Completing this four-day journey, which once seemed impossible, feels bittersweet."
Jeongsu performed despite a sore throat, taking medication mid-performance. He confessed, "I felt unprofessional, but seeing the audience's appreciation reminded me that my job is to give my best and deliver the best gift to those who come to see us."

Gaon shared his personal growth, "I've changed a lot this year. Last year, I felt lost and pretended to be okay in front of our fans. But performing revealed my true self, prompting change." He added, "I've started believing in myself this year."
The members expressed their affection for each other. Gaon stated, "My goal is to make music with these friends until the end." Gunil, with taped arms, shared a touching moment with Junhan, "His smile melted away all my pain and tension."

The venue, once dotted with empty seats during their debut concert, was now filled with fans. Gunil expressed gratitude, "JYP PD always says, 'Artists want to perform, but we need people to buy tickets to make it happen.' Seeing this full house is truly humbling."
He added, "Thanks to everyone who came and will come, we can continue making music and performing."
"I will be an artist who gives you moments that motivate you to live another day." - Jeongsu
