NEWBEAT Showcases Unique Talents and Charisma on 'Idol Human Theater'
The group, consisting of Park Min-seok, Hong Min-seong, Jeon Yeo-yeo-jeong, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Tae-yang, Jo Yoon-hoo, and Kim Ri-woo, appeared on the YouTube channel 'Idol Human Theater' on the 5th.
During the show, NEWBEAT members analyzed the meaning behind their newly assigned team name, strengthening their teamwork. Leader Park Min-seok explained, "'New' has two meanings: creating something new and being interconnected like neurons," impressing viewers with the powerful vision behind their name.
The members revealed their hidden talents through self-profiles designed to leave a strong first impression. Park Min-seok, the tallest in the group, competed in a leg-splitting contest with the most flexible member, Choi Seo-hyun, and emerged victorious, proving his long-legged prowess.
Hong Min-seong showcased his breakdancing skills, claiming he is adept at using his body, which left the audience in awe. Jeon Yeo-yeo-jeong entertained with a variety of sound imitations, including pterodactyl and dolphin sounds, hiccup greetings, and a Lee Jung-jae impression, filling the room with laughter.
Choi Seo-hyun, known for his muscular build, demonstrated his freestyle dance skills with a relaxed vibe. Kim Tae-yang, famous among the members as a 'soda lover,' confidently identified different beverages blindfolded, impressing everyone with his accuracy.
Jo Yoon-hoo, a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo, showcased his spinning kick and earned the title of 'bottle-flipping master,' gaining recognition for his skills. The youngest member, Kim Ri-woo, intrigued everyone with his self-word chain game, creating memorable moments with his speedy performance.
NEWBEAT expressed their gratitude to fans who have supported them since their busking days in the U.S., stating, "We have an irresistible charm that will captivate those who discover us, so please continue to watch over us."
The group plans to engage in various activities, including fan signings, music shows, and diverse online and offline content.
