TROT GIRLS JAPAN's Unit Group sis Holds First Solo Concert in Tokyo
The unit group sis, formed through the popular Japanese audition program 'TROT GIRLS JAPAN,' recently held their first solo concert in Tokyo, delighting fans with their performance.

On November 2nd, sis hosted the '%? (What Percent?)' live concert at Tennozu Isle KIWA in Tokyo to commemorate the release of their remake single 'Love Battery.'

The concert celebrated the group's recent release of 'Love Battery' in Japan, featuring a diverse setlist that included not only the title track but also 80s city pop hits like 'Stay with me' and 'Blue Coral Reef,' as well as classic pop songs such as 'Dancing Queen' and 'The Rose.' Each member also performed solo songs for the first time, delivering a total of 14 songs to a packed audience.

Midway through the concert, sis unveiled their upcoming digital single 'Dorebell of Love,' set for release in April. This track is a Japanese remake of the 2010 Korean trot hit 'Love's Doorbell' by LPG and marks sis's second single, following 'Love Battery,' with production by Hyadain.

The concert also saw a significant number of Korean fans in attendance, cheering for the members in Korean, highlighting sis's growing popularity in both Japan and Korea. Makoto, the leader of sis, expressed her gratitude, saying, "A year ago, I couldn't have imagined this scene. I'm so glad we didn't give up," with tears in her eyes.

Comprising four talented members—Kano Miyu, Makoto, Tara Rihoko, and Asahi Ai—who all reached the semifinals or higher in 'TROT GIRLS JAPAN,' sis draws inspiration for their name from the English word 'sister' and the Finnish word 'SISU,' meaning courage. The group aims to deliver music that transcends generations and borders with a strong yet warm sensibility.

Notably, Kano Miyu and Makoto gained attention by competing against top Korean trot singers on MBN's 'Korean-Japanese King of Singers' and performing on the follow-up show 'Korean-Japanese Top Ten Show.' Their performances have garnered over a million views on YouTube, showcasing their popularity among fans in both countries.

Following their successful solo concert, sis is set to release their new digital single 'Dorebell of Love' in April and will participate in the 'TROT GIRLS JAPAN Tokyo Concert ~Like a Flowing River~' on the 30th of the same month.
