SM Entertainment Unveils New Girl Group 'Hearts2Hearts' After 18 Years

SM Entertainment has introduced a new multi-member girl group, Hearts2Hearts, marking their first such debut in 18 years since Girls' Generation.

The rookie group held their debut showcase on the 24th at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

During the event, member Yuha expressed confidence, saying, "Each of our eight members has a unique charm. The synergy that emerges when we come together is our greatest strength." She added, "We don't really have any weaknesses, but if I had to pick one, it would be that it takes us a bit longer to prepare."

The members cited Girls' Generation as their role model. Jiwoo stated, "Girls' Generation is our role model. Each member's charm comes together to create a powerful synergy, and we aspire to emulate that."

Hearts2Hearts aims to connect with global fans and expand into a larger 'us' through their unique and beautiful musical world, filled with various emotions and heartfelt messages. The group consists of eight members: Jiwoo, Carmen, Yuha, Stella, Jueun, Aina, Ian, and Yeon.

Their title track, 'The Chase,' features a blend of ethereal sound sources and vocal melodies, creating a mysterious and intriguing atmosphere. The track is characterized by its intense and unique bass synth, with mood changes throughout. The lyrics convey a confident message of "I will pave my own path" and express excitement and curiosity about the new world ahead.

Hearts2Hearts' debut single 'The Chase' will be available on various music streaming sites at 6 PM today.
