Park Bom Deletes Second Instagram Account Amid Self-Generated Dating Rumors with Lee Min-ho
According to TenAsia on the 20th, Park Bom's second account is no longer accessible, indicating it has been deleted. Park Bom had previously used this account to claim Lee Min-ho as "my husband" multiple times, but the deletion seems to be a move to preempt further controversy.
Last September and again on the 12th of this month, Park Bom posted photos of Lee Min-ho on her secondary SNS account with hashtags like "my husband" and "again my husband♥," causing a stir. Park Bom's representatives told TenAsia that it was merely a "simple happening." On the 15th, she once again posted Lee Min-ho's photo, stating, "It's true, Lee Min-ho is my husband," and "The company deleted the post," shocking fans once more. Currently, Park Bom's secondary account is set to private. Despite this, she continued to post messages implying Lee Min-ho is her husband.
The 2NE1 Gallery Fan Union issued an official statement on the 15th, demanding Park Bom's exclusion from 2NE1 activities. They criticized her for "continuous SNS controversies, repeated unprofessional behavior during tours, and actions on stage that are hard to justify as health-related." They stated, "This situation has gone beyond what can be tolerated."
They added, "While a single mistake can be forgiven, repeated impulsive actions are a betrayal to both the 2NE1 members and the fans who have waited over a decade." They expressed concern that Park Bom's actions could negatively impact the group's reputation.
Park Bom will continue to perform with 2NE1 without being excluded from activities. Despite some fans' requests for her removal, she is set to perform at the '2025 2NE1 Concert Welcome Back' in Macau on the 22nd and 23rd at The Venetian Arena.
A representative for Park Bom told TenAsia, "Park Bom is currently overseas for the 2NE1 tour and is preparing for the upcoming performance." Regarding her posts about Lee Min-ho, they said, "It's understood as a personal fan sentiment," and added, "While we respect her personal space on SNS, we have asked her to remove the recent posts about Lee Min-ho."
Regarding fans' requests for her exclusion, the representative stated, "Communication is difficult as she is currently overseas, but we plan to discuss the matter calmly when she returns to Korea."
