ADOR Responds to NewJeans' Unapproved Name Change to NJZ
ADOR, the agency behind the group NewJeans, has issued a statement regarding the use of the group's name.

On the 10th, ADOR released an official statement saying, "On the 7th, NewJeans members announced plans to operate under a group name not agreed upon with ADOR, causing confusion among reporters and prompting numerous inquiries."

The statement continued, "The exclusive contract between NewJeans members and ADOR is legally valid, and claims of its termination are unilateral. We have filed for an injunction to affirm ADOR's status as the management company under the exclusive contract and are awaiting the court's decision. We kindly ask that you use the official team name 'NewJeans' based on the valid contract when writing articles."

ADOR added, "We urge reporters, who are well aware of the importance of exclusive contracts in the entertainment industry, to ensure accurate reporting."

Previously, on the 7th, NewJeans announced they had independently decided on the team name NJZ. Through an unofficial account under the name NJZ, they stated, "Minji, Hani, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein's new group name is NJZ. Look forward to an exciting journey with NJZ in 2025!" and declared their independent path.
