Korean Singer Cho Yong-pil Reschedules Concert in Honor of National Mourning Period
Korean singer Cho Yong-pil joins the national mourning period following the Jeju Air flight tragedy.

Cho Yong-pil, through his agency YPC, announced, "In solidarity with the national mourning period due to the Jeju Air flight tragedy, the previously postponed '20th Album Release Cho Yong-pil & The Great Birth Concert - Daejeon' will now take place on April 5th at 6 PM at the Daejeon Convention Center."

YPC explained, "Due to concerns over confusion from the inability to transfer the reservation system and potential loss of delivered tickets, we have decided to cancel all existing reservations and reopen ticket sales. All previously purchased tickets will be fully refunded through the ticketing agency, and detailed information can be found on the agency's notice. Further announcements regarding ticket sales and related schedules will be made through Ticketlink. We ask for the understanding of the audience who have been waiting for the concert."

The '20th Album Release Cho Yong-pil & The Great Birth Concert - Daejeon,' initially scheduled for April 4th, was postponed to honor the national mourning period following the Jeju Air flight accident.

Cho Yong-pil released his new album '20' last November and has been on a nationwide tour. The tour began in Seoul on November 23rd, followed by performances in Daegu and Busan, with the Daejeon concert next in line. However, the concert was postponed in light of the Jeju Air flight tragedy.

Hello, this is YPC.

In solidarity with the national mourning period due to the Jeju Air flight tragedy, the previously postponed '20th Album Release Cho Yong-pil & The Great Birth Concert - Daejeon' will now take place on April 5th, 2025, at 6 PM at the Daejeon Convention Center.

Due to concerns over confusion from the inability to transfer the reservation system and potential loss of delivered tickets, we have decided to cancel all existing reservations and reopen ticket sales.

All previously purchased tickets will be fully refunded through the ticketing agency, and detailed information can be found on the agency's notice. Further announcements regarding ticket sales and related schedules will be made through Ticketlink. We ask for the understanding of the audience who have been waiting for the concert.

Once again, we extend our deepest condolences to the victims and families affected by the Jeju Air Flight 2216 accident.
