GOT7 to Reunite for Full-Group Concert in Seoul After Three Years
The third-generation boy group 'GOT7' is set to reunite for a full-group concert.
According to TenAsia's report on the 26th, GOT7 will hold a concert in Seoul on February 1st and 2nd. This marks their first full-group concert in nearly three years since the 'HOMECOMING' fan concert in May 2022. Celebrating their 11th anniversary, this event is expected to be a special gift for their fans.
In January 2021, the members left their original agency, JYP Entertainment, to pursue individual careers with different agencies, yet they have maintained their bond as GOT7. At that time, the members expressed their strong commitment to continuing group activities, and JYP transferred the trademark rights of GOT7 to the members. The group is also set to release a new mini-album titled 'WINTER HEPTAGON' on the 20th of next month. GOT7's full-group activities are being supported by Kakao Entertainment, which is overseeing the planning and production of the album.
GOT7 was formed around JB and Jinyoung, who first appeared as the project duo 'JJ Project' in 2013. The group also includes vocalist Youngjae, youngest member Yugyeom, Taiwanese-American Mark, Thai member BamBam, and former Hong Kong national fencing athlete Jackson. Since their debut in 2014, they have been a leading boy group under JYP, following in the footsteps of 2PM, and have gained immense popularity with hits like 'If You Do' and 'Hard Carry'.
