Daesung Concludes Japan Live Tour with a Spectacular Encore Performance

Daesung, the renowned singer, wrapped up his Japan live tour with a grand finale.

On the evening of the 15th, Daesung held the final performance of his 'D-LITE JAPAN LIVE TOUR 2024 “D’s IS ME” - Encore' concert in Kobe, Japan.

This concert was part of Daesung's encore performances for his Japan live tour 'D’s IS ME', which initially ran for about two months starting in April this year. The encore series took place across four shows in Tokyo and Kobe from the 30th of last month.

During the live arena tour, Daesung captivated local fans with a diverse setlist, including hits like 'Wings', 'Ai', and 'Rainy Rainy', as well as an acoustic and dance medley of Big Bang songs.

The encore concert's ending was particularly moving for the audience. Daesung surprised fans with a new song, 'Umbrella (傘) (D’s IS ME Limited Edition)', showcasing his refreshing yet powerful vocals, leaving a lasting impression amidst enthusiastic cheers.

'Umbrella' marks Daesung's first new release in seven years since 'Delight2' in 2017. With Daesung contributing to the lyrics, the limited edition album featuring 'Umbrella' sold out at both Tokyo and Kobe venues, proving his enduring popularity even 19 years into his career.

Throughout the year, Daesung has actively engaged with the public. Starting with the release of his single 'Falling Slowly', he hosted his first solo domestic fan day 'D’s ROAD', embarked on the 'D’s IS ME' live tour across 10 Japanese cities, and continued to connect with fans in Taipei, Bangkok, and other Asian locations.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Daesung has been the MC for MBN's 'Korean-Japanese Top Ten Show' and the host of the YouTube channel 'Home (Outside) Daesung', leading both seasons 1 and 2. Recently, he performed alongside G-Dragon and Taeyang at the '2024 MAMA AWARDS', thrilling global fans.
